Queens Gate Terrace Building

Queens Gate Terrace Building is an architecturally stunning residential development, once home to Prime Minister Winston Churchill’s office. It comprises of 8 flats spread over 7 floors and includes a total of 9 bathrooms.

The building’s entrance is laid with Imbrico’s porcelain travertine tiles, providing durability, as well as giving it a smart and sophisticated finish.

Imbrico’s grey engineered oak wood floor features in both the hallways and reception rooms of each flat. The hand stained finish of the timber flooring lends an elegant sophistication.

One typical issue with the design of a historic building such as this is the uneven flooring. To counter this, a self-levelling compound was used underneath the acoustic underlay, before Imbrico’s timber floor was laid.
